I’m Now on Substack!
I have been considering it for a while and I have finally taken the plunge. I am now on Substack.
If you are not familiar with Substack, it is a platform to create blog posts, podcasts, and other content. What makes it different from a site, such as this one, is that it is designed specifically to be received by subscribers.
You can still just visit the site and consume the content, but the goal is to gather subscribers and have the content regularly delivered to them. I hope that includes my content regularly going to you.
So what does that mean for this website? I am definitely not shutting it down and I will keep posting new content here. This site represents who I am with all of my diverse interests.
My Substack will have a specific purpose and that is to explore what it means to be a Christian in the messy middle between conservative and progressive. I will be looking at how my faith has changed over the years, including a deconstruction, but one that has not taken me out of the Christian faith. In fact, I still consider myself an evangelical.
I expect the Substack to get a bit more personal and raw. It will be a place to explore what it means to try and be faithful to Jesus in a world that has already decided what Christianity is supposed to look like.
My first post is up and it is called 3 Events That Changed How I Look at Faith and Life. I encourage you to read it and to even more subscribe.
In case you are wondering, there is not a cost to subscribe. I realize that some charge to read their posts and Substack has that option. This content is FREE and at this point, I am just using it to give some focus to what I write and speak on.
So please visit my Substack and subscribe today.
