Supergirl: Season One – Review
I actually just finished watching the first season of Supergirl. I know that I am way behind. Previously, I had seen the first episode, the appearance with the Flash and the rest of the Arrowverse crossovers. I just wasn’t motivated to watch the rest of the series.
As I saw the development of Supergirl in the crossovers, I decided I would go back and watch the rest of the series. I’m glad I did.
Yes there are some cheesy moments but in general it is pretty fun. There is a nice use of the Superman mythology, as well as some other DC aspects. I will admit that I especially like the use of the Martian Manhunter. He was always one of my favourite characters.
I enjoyed the first season and I’m looking forward to watching the second season.
