Good News: Opportunities to Share
In recent years, there has been a shift in my interests more to the area of disabilities. This was seen most dramatically when I did a last minute shift in my Doctor of Ministry thesis to write on disabilities and the church.
I continue to look for opportunities to write and speak in this area. I recently had an article published in a journal.
In addition, I have recently had opportunities to present papers for the University of Aberdeen, Fordham University, and the Canadian Autism Spectrum Disorder Alliance. I have a couple more coming up for Emmanuel Bible College and the Collaborative on Faith and Disability.
This probably sounds like I’m bragging but that is the last thing I want to do. I just want to express my deep gratitude for the opportunities to share my thoughts and experiences.
I don’t think I have all the answers and I am coming at these topics with the posture of a student rather than an expert. I am overwhelmed that I would get to share in these ways.
