Same-Sex Relationships and the Letters of Paul
What does the New Testament say about same-sex relationships? Three of the so-called “clobber passages” are found in Paul. These are 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, 1 Timothy 1:9-11, and Romans 1:26-27. This is not a full scale study of those passages but rather a reflection of how they have been used to exclude 2SLGBTQIA+ people and whether that is consistent.
