Good News: Another Kid in Cadets
Last week, our daughter joined cadets. I’m happy about this because I really believe in cadets and our son has already had a good experience with it.
It was amazing to watch as my picked them up how welcomed my daughter was. Lots of people were eager to get to know her (and not just boys). She enjoyed herself and is eager to get more involved.
The other part of this that makes it Good News is that our son actually wanted his sister to join. They are 13 and 12 and don’t always get along. But our son was eager for her to join and was helpful ins showing her how to do some of the stuff.
I hope they both continue in this and develop as leaders and citizens.
