Three Weeks in Drumbo
It has been almost three years since I left my last churches (Woodford and First Baptist Church Meaford). Thankfully that has not meant three weeks without preaching. I have been able to keep active by filling in at various churches. Most recently, I spent three weeks preaching at Drumbo Baptist Church.
Their pastor, Mark Steinacher, has been away on a mission trip. He was nice enough to give the church my name and I was invited to preach. I really appreciated the congregation of Drumbo Baptist. They were extremely welcoming. There is something about small town churches. It had the same feel as my experiences at Meaford and Woodford. That is a good feeling by the way.
I am thankful for this opportunity to get to know a bit more of the Body of Christ. They must have liked me, as they have invited me to come and preach at their anniversary service later this month.
With this and my three months at Toronto Chinese Baptist Church, does this mean I am going to return to pastoral ministry?
