Enjoying the Beach
When I tell people that we now live in Wasaga Beach, I get a certain reaction. People seem to picture us as living right on the beach as if we walk out of our house into the water. That is not quite right.
It is true the Wasaga Beach is the largest fresh water beach in the world. But we are not even walking distance to any of the actual beaches.
But that does not mean that there is no time at the beach. It is not a far drive and there are numerous beaches to choose from.
On Saturday, Emma and I decided to go to the beach for our first time in the water. We brought Emma’s paddle board and enjoyed a beautiful evening at one of the beaches.
The water was warm, the beach was sandy, and there was not too many people out there. It was nice to be able to enjoy a place that people come from all over to visit.
This will be the first of many trips to the beach this summer. Wasaga Beach is a great place to live.
